S Start, specifically the Start/Finish line pin.
(i.e.  Port is the default way to start and to round a mark in our races. If the S were underlined, you would pass the pin to starboard when starting.)

**The red Pt Hudson bell can buoy #2 is to be passed on the outside, or left to shoreward, if it is not a mark to be rounded. If you are rounding it as a mark, then the letter board will indicate which way it is to be rounded.
